Established in 2009, Idris is husband and wife team Tom Greenall and Kiyoko Yamaguchi, whose shared aim is to build better skis, not just different skis, and promote their ideal of green living. Tom crafts every pair of skis by hand, using renewable, recyclable materials wherever he can. Where possible, materials are sourced locally to minimise environmental impact.

Valandré

Light and fast. Valandré is an iconic high altitude down equipment manufacturer based in the French Pyrenees. The company, since 1980, has designed down gear necessary for high altitude alpine style expeditions on the 8.000m peaks, and was directly connected to the French Alpin Club - Himalayan section though the president at that time: Maurice Barrard. The tradition remains, and Valandré keeps producing and developing technical high altitude gear for “Alpine style expedition without supplementary oxygen.”
