Travelling to Chamonix

One of the great advantages of climbing in Chamonix is the ease of access both to the valley itself and the area’s extensive lift system.

There are a number of airports offering access to Chamonix. By far the most convenient, and the one we recommend you fly into is Geneva. It is just 80 km away and there are plenty of cost-effective ways of travelling between the airport and Chamonix.
